On the move again! We drove to Hoodsport, WA on the Hood Canal (in the rain, naturally!) but still enjoyed the views and surroundings. We'll return another time when we can stay longer. Off to Montana where it's hot and dry right now. Along the way, we stopped in Ellensburg, WA and Coeur d'Alene, ID where we just happened to see some local Osprey fledge...the second time we've seen this happen! We also saw the "Scablands" in Eastern Washington which are remnants of The Great Missoula Floods that we've been learning about. Fascinating, so we'll return to explore the area more thoroughly and see the "Dry Falls" and other remnants of these old Ice Age floods.

Glacier National Park
Arrived at Columbia Falls, MT the beginning of the week and have been touring the area, including Glacier NP, with friends who live in the area. It's been hot, but we've enjoyed the visit. There's a lot to see besides Glacier in this area, so we'll have to return...again and again.
