Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
There was no travel for us during Sept. and Oct. due to family commitments, but we resumed our travels in November and are excited about exploring much of Arizona. Make sure to visit our August travels...our favorite this year!
There's a very nice campground, Distant Drums, that is right off I-17, about 1 1/2 hours north of Phoenix that we can highly recommend as a base for exploring much of the area from Sedona (30 min. north) to Prescott (about 45 min. east), Montezuma Castle (5 min.), Verde Canyon railroad, etc. We loved it there, and will return for a longer visit.
